"Blue"
The square serves as both the foundation and focal point of this work. As the root of Euclidean geometry and central to the Pythagorean theorem, the square represents mathematical precision and universal order. Yet within this structured framework, I explore the fluid boundaries between geometric certainty and optical illusion.

"Blue2" presents a composition of squares and rectangles that exploits their inherent
relationship—while all squares are rectangles, not all rectangles are squares. This mathematical truth becomes a visual paradox as the forms appear to float, ascend, and
descend in an infinite progression across the canvas. The careful arrangement creates a dynamic optical effect that transforms static geometry into perceived movement.
The monochromatic blue palette connects directly to the exhibition's theme while invoking waters natural associations. The airbrushed water border references the
scientific reality that blue appears in water due to the natural wavelength of light refracted from its surface. This creates a conceptual bridge between the mathematical precision of geometry and the organic fluidity of water.

Working within the constraints of a 2D medium, the piece achieves a compelling 3D visual effect. The squares seem to hover and shift in space, challenging the viewers perception and creating an immersive experience that transcends the flatness of the
painted surface.
Through this exploration of geometric form, optical illusion, and color symbolism,
"Blue2" invites contemplation of the relationships between mathematical order and perceptual experience, between the structured and the
