Application Tips
• Stir flake thoroughly into a compatible clear binder, intercoat, or carrier before spraying.
• Keep the mixture agitated during application to help maintain even flake suspension.
• Apply in light, even passes until the desired coverage is achieved.
• Use appropriate spray equipment capable of passing .008 flake.
• Apply clear coat over the finished flake application for depth and protection.
• Additional clear may be required depending on flake coverage and desired final finish.
Base Color Makes a Difference
The base underneath holographic flake can dramatically change the finished appearance.
Black or dark base: Creates strong contrast and an intense rainbow/prismatic effect.
Silver base: Produces a bright, highly reflective custom finish.
